Conclusion
In conclusion, twenty-one 4-monocyclic aryl-5-carbamoyl-3-isoxazolols have been synthesized and evaluated for their antagonistic activities against housefly and common cutworm GABARs expressed in Xenopus oocytes. The TEVC results indicated that PF 1022A several compounds exhibited excellent antagonism in both insect GABARs, with IC50 values at the micromolar level ranging from 0.9 to 12.9 μM. All synthesized analogues showed moderate larvicidal activities against common cutworms at 100 μg/g. The findings obtained in saprophytes study provide important information for designing potent GABAR CAs.
